As we are coming to an end to the summer season, changes will occur. The kids will begin school and parents will have to quickly adjust to their daily routines of getting them ready in the morning, helping out with homework, attending school events and etc. College students will begin their fall semester and they’ll get back to the grind of sleepless nights writing essays, lots of homework, endless studying and a limitless amount of coffee. Oh, and somewhere in –between manage to have a social life. At this time of year, families are returning back from their vacation and preparing for the new season that quickly approaches. Today, I want to encourage you with a word because quite frankly, life may get a little busier and your trust in God will need to grow deeper.
I don’t know what obstacles you are facing today and if they may intensify in the weeks and months to come but I do want you to remember this, Jeremiah 32:27 says I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me? What a powerful verse that makes a statement and poses a question. God is saying that He is Lord of mankind; He is above everyone and everything. Now, keeping his lordship in mind, He then proceeds to ask the question, is anything too hard for me? Other bible translations says, is there anything impossible for me? When we think of the supremacy of our Lord Jesus, everything around us seems minute and insignificant. Friends, please remember this word in your time of need. When the demands of life increases and you have to juggle with family, work, ministry, business, personal issues and whatever else life throws at you. Remember that you are not alone; remember that you don’t have to do this by yourself. It’s okay not to have all of the answers, its okay not to be everyone’s hero, it’s okay to take time for yourself. It’s okay to step away and take a breather. The things you cannot do on your own, leave it to the One who can. The problems you cannot resolve, leave it to the One who has the answers. Life was not meant to be lived alone. You have God above all who has vowed to never leave you nor forsake you, and He has also placed people around you that will help, encourage and uplift you in your time of need.
I came across this quote and I want to share it with you. It goes like this, “Hope is a dangerous word and oh. I pray you carry it with you like a blessing. “–f.d. soul
Hope is a dangerous word! There is a power that lies within us, it is hope. In those moments when we are fed up and we scream, I give up, hope whispers try one more time. Hope is the fuel that will keep you going, it will keep you believing, it will keep you trusting and believing it will work this time.
Hope carries a special blessing when we decide to utilize it, it gives us the strength to move forward, dream bigger and reach higher. The next time you get overwhelmed and feel like quitting, whisper that small yet dangerous word and you will see a blazing fire ignite in you to fulfill what you have set out to do. God is with you and He will give you the grace you need to finish strong. While you do your part, allow Him to do His because what may be hard or impossible for us, is a piece a cake for Him.
Be Encouraged, Be Blessed!
